Hi, there.
We have been using Carbonite Ultra over 9 months and we are pleased to have Ultra. Recently, we have some bewildered situation which bring about to find out a solution for that. To elucidate, we have installed Ultra on our Main Control Room which operates 24/7, and we had a problem on an electricity supply( numerous power surges were observed), after every power surges we had to assign mediastore files(which are located on an external usb) to keys(key3-key4). I was wondering is there any way to transfer mediastores(such as logos) to internal memory?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Shamil… I am glad that you are pleased with your Ultra. When media files are assigned to mediastore channels, they are transferred from the USB drive to the switcher’s internal RAM. This means that when the switcher loses power, the media files are cleared from RAM. A solution is to save a memory when the required media loaded on the mediastore channels. After a power surge, recall the memory and the media files are loaded into RAM and appear on the mediastore channels.
You need to keep a USB inserted in the Frame that has the Media Items and the Media Database.
The USB is the “storage” you can remote access and transfer media items via FTP into the Media Store or now with version 5 directly inside of DashBoard Media Manager.
